Our clients are seeking a motivated 50/50 Sharemilker to take over the reins for the 2025–26 season on a well-setup and efficient dairy property near Te Awamutu. The farm milks 330–360 cows through a 30-aside herringbone shed, with 112 effective hectares. In recent seasons, production has averaged 136,000 kgMS from 90 hectares. The property features rolling contour with some steeper sidelings, a covered feed pad, and a well-established system using maize and palm kernel supplements, with additional silage supplied from a runoff block.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Commitment to calf rearing as part of the contract
  • Capability to provide one additional labour unit during calving and mating
