Senior Farm Assistant
A well-developed, family-owned farm, situated 12 minutes from Morrinsville and 15 minutes from Te Aroha requires a senior farm assistant for mid-November start, on their 140ha extremely tidy dairy farm.
This property is milking 460 cows through a modern 50 Bale Rotary shed with auto cup removers, auto teat sprayer and auto wash system. This is a typically all grass based operation with maize brought in when required.
Our clients allow generous time off throughout the season with 4 full time staff over spring down to 3.5 for the remainder of the year. A modern 2 bedroom home with double lock up garage is available for this position plus the use of a motorbike.
This position is best suited to applicants who have a keen interest in farming, are good communicators and enjoy working in a team environment. Our client is looking for someone who is honest, reliable, responsible and clean and tidy.
